I went to the movies tonight and saw The Sound of Freedom. I would highly recommend taking a group to see this movie. The movie is about the true story of Tim Ballard, who went on a personal mission to save children from the slavery of human trafficking. This movie shows to us the need to work in our communities to halt this horrendous activity.
Things we can do to limit Human Trafficking: Limit access to Abortion – This is their method of birth control
Implement the Safe Environment protocols of the Order and of the Catholic Church (Archdiocese or Diocese level) If you see something, contact the authorities.
Encourage our members to study and learn their faith. Our Church teaches the sanctity of all human life.

KnightCast host Jonathan Reyes interviews Mexican actor and producer Eduardo Verastegui about Sound of Freedom, his new film based on the life and work of Tim Ballard. Played by Jim Caveziel in the movie, Ballard founded Operation Underground Railroad in 2013 to rescue and care for victims of sex trafficking. Look for Sound of Freedom in theaters July 4.
