Plan, Complete, and Achieve

As we embrace the month of February, it is time for all councils to gear up and make significant strides in our shared mission. This month is pivotal for us to plan membership drives, ensure all paperwork is completed before deadlines, and submit award applications on time. Here are a few key areas of focus:

Plan Your Membership Drives

February is the perfect time to invigorate our recruitment efforts. Planning a membership drive can seem daunting, but with a strategic approach, it can be an incredibly rewarding experience. Consider the following steps:

Identify Your Target Audience: Understand the demographics you wish to reach and tailor your messaging accordingly.

Engage Current Members: Encourage your current members to bring friends or colleagues to events. Word of mouth is a powerful tool.

Host Events: Organize events that showcase the benefits of being part of our council. This could be anything from weekend church drives to open house sessions.

Use Social Media: Leverage social media platforms to widen your outreach. Post engaging content and updates about upcoming events.

Complete Paperwork Before Deadlines

Proper documentation is crucial for the smooth functioning of our councils. To avoid any last-minute rush, ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed well before the deadlines. Here are some tips to stay ahead:

Organize Documents: Keep all essential documents in an orderly fashion. Use digital tools if necessary to track and manage paperwork.

Set Reminders: Utilize calendar reminders to keep track of various deadlines. This will help you stay on top of your responsibilities.

Delegate Tasks: Assign specific tasks to members who can handle them efficiently. This will distribute the workload and ensure nothing is overlooked.

Supreme form 1728 was due January 31st.  If you haven’t submitted it yet, please do so ASAP.

Your second of two semi annual council audits are due February 15th.

Submit State Award Applications by the End of the Month

Recognizing the hard work and dedication of our members through awards is a tradition we cherish. Make sure to submit all award applications by the end of February. Here's how you can streamline this process:

Review Criteria: Carefully read through the award criteria to ensure your application meets all the requirements.

Gather Supporting Materials: Collect all necessary documents, testimonials, and evidence that strengthen your application.

Proofread Applications: Before submission, double-check for any errors or omissions. A well-polished application stands a better chance of success.
