The 34th Annual Gibault Envoy Conference was held on September 14, 2019. We had an awesome turn-out and a beautiful day. We had over 100 councils represented, and the Parade of Checks brought in $41,682.84. Craig Hanusin presented the per capita check from the state in the amount of $52,998.26.
I want to thank all of the Envoys, the State Officers and all the guests who came. Michelle Madley and her staff had a very good program planned for the day. There was a kid’s showcase with a Taste of Gibault, where the dorms competed against each other making tasty desserts and the guests were the judges. A short stroll would take you to the movie theatre where children showed pictures of their activities, and a visit to the ice cream parlor would get you an ice cream and a smile from some of the residents. There was also a kid’s panel who answered questions from the audience and later, a talent show with some remarkable dancing and singing. Father Fred Pasche celebrated mass at the end of the day. What a perfect way to end a perfect day. We hope to see you all next year.
